So I removed my spare tire last spring when I got my exhaust on. It sat in my garage all summer and my TPMS light never came on. At the end of the summer I sold my stock wheels and tires including the spare with the TPMS still in it. Because the light never went off I never thought anything of it. A week later I drove across the state to go back to school and the light went on in the middle of my drive and has been on ever since. Dealership ran a diagnostic and it says its the spare thats making it go off. Since I no longer have a spare the light is constantly on. Is there any way to turn off that light or do something to trick it into turning off?
