TPMS question

I had a light from the TPMS. It would come on when it was cold and go out after I drove it for a while and the tires warmed up.
Last weekened I increased the tire pressure on the tires from about 30 lbs to about 32 or 33. Now the light is solid and never goes out.
I expected the light to go out when I increased the pressure. I did a quick look at the spare. It had air but I didn't check to see how much. It might be low. I have gotten conflicting information about wheter the light can be reset or not. Of course I'll check the spare tire pressure this weekend but until then I would like to understand whether the light should be reset or not.
This is a 2004 4X4. There is nothing in the user manual but I read somewhere about a switch somewhere around the steering column and a procedure to learn the specific tire pressures.

I'd say check the pressure in the spare to start because the TPMS system is active in your spare, too. If you do that and it still doesn't work, I'd start checking the batteries in the TPMS sensors, although I'm not sure what the expected lifespan of them is.

Em no don't think there's a switch put some air n spare see if that works 1st . They have batt. but not real sure there replaceable & they are expensive to replace , but you can buy on ebay . Must be programmed to your 4r , there is a mod sticky to dismiss it easiest fix .

Your batteries are going dead like mine did since they are 8 yrs old now. Only solution is to disable the warning light if you don't want to replace them all at a high cost.
