tps screws

Can someone tell me how to get the screws out to remove the throttle positioning sensor? The metal is almost as soft as lead, and they seem to be almost welded in place. Do I seriously have to remove the entire throttle body just to get one little screw out? Thanks

What motor are we talking about? I don't know about the 3VZE, but on the 22RE you don't have to completely pull the throttle body. Just removing the four bolts in the front will let you pull the TB out enough to access the TPS screws.

Can you post a pic of the sensor and what the screw looks like? I don't think you have to remove the whole throttle body, but if the screws holding the sensor are damaged then you need to drill out and replace.
