Traction Control?

traction control, does this system ever go off ?,,, and, does it send traction from free wheels to wheel(s) with some traction I would think sometimes you just want to gun the crap out of a jam. ps
love my 02 runner sr5 durado gold. solid good looks and its toy reputation..

There is a switch for "traction off" above your left knee on the dash pane. You have to be at a stop for it to work. You can push this button, and you will see it light up on your console that the traction control is off. I have tried it and it seems to mean that now your rear wheels will spin together, vs. one at a time based on traction. I have used it to get me out of sand on the beach or when even on wet grass. Try it - with it on, you can peel out...with it off, you can.

mines a4x4 and has no button there i think its only two wheel drive with that.

So 4x diff lock turns trac control off 4hi or 4lo, and, 4w auto also acts like limited slip axles. I love this thing more now i just got it toy certified 37k tight ride no rattles next 30" tires and nce wheels
