Alright, I have yet to post in this forum, and really have had nothing bad to say about the 4runner. But for a 4 wheel drive vehicle, it stinks not being able to turn the traction control off. i have the 2005 sport edition. I have drove in Vermont snow all my life with many 4 wheel drive vehicles and i have to say this is the worst so far (solely based on the traction) Any thoughts?

Does it suck even w/ the Center diff locked? My 05' Sport is a V8, so to "disable" the VSC I lock the center diff and it disables most of the VSC. I have noticed I have to step on it pretty good, but if I want to spin the tires, there is no problem. I'll agree, if you're in 2wd or unlocked mode, it sucks, but I'm ok w/ that to have a safer vehicle. One of these days I may do the VSC mod, but I'm happy for now.
