I ran the Blue Book on my 2022 Lunar Rock ORP and just plugged in 15,000 miles even though it has less than 500. It came back $4K more than I paid for it

Supply and Demand is killing the market.
I am in the market, unfortunately because my other car just crapped out, not worth repairing. Or maybe it is..
I was at a dealership in VA, and they had 5k markup. Used ones were same price on the lot.
I am trying to find one below 40K, Limited edition, with latest refresh update in interior.
It is not happening.. Most are high 40's low 50's//

My Tundra story…Bought a leftover 2019 Platinum in February 2020 @ $7000 off MSRP, right before covid hit. I traded this summer on a 2021 Platinum and was given MSRP for the 2019! I paid MSRP for the 2021. It was about $3k more than the 2019 because it had a few added Port items like Predator side steps, clear bra and spray on bed liner. So I moved up 2 years for only $3300 including tax and fees. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

Same here - 21 Lunar Rock, 8,900 miles, I bought it for MSRP and my dealer offered me to buy it back for $65k

Just sold my 20 Army Green TRD Pro for $60K to my local dealer. Put the stock wheels back on, but left the rest of the mods on the rig (lift, roof rack, etc.). I paid just under MSRP on it back in 2020 and put 20K miles on it. Figured I'd cash in while the market on these is still hot. I've got a Nori Green 22 Lexus LX600 on order, but that's still a few months out. The Lexus dealer lowballed me at $53K for trade-in value.
