Quick background: Purchased a 2004 4Runner SR5 as a freshman in college 8 years ago.. loved it, saw the facelifted 06-09's shortly after.. always wanted one. It was totaled when someone ran a stop sign and T Boned me.
Replaced it with an 06 SR5 with leather/sunroof but it was still 2WD. Ran that for about 4 years until this past summer when I yearned for something new.
I sold it and purchased my Porsche 911. I loved the car but since day 1 of ownership I quickly begin to miss the everyday comfort and space of the Runner. I toyed around with the idea of buying a preowned camry for daily use, but in the end, I decided to get rid of the 911 and pick up a new 4Runner 4x4.
I don't regret the decision ONE BIT! I will be back for another 911, but this time it will be parked alongside my 2016 SR5 Premium 4x4, and serve more as a fun vehicle rather than one for every day commuting/errands.
I chose to put the TRD Wheels on and had the dealer swap the Dueler's for the more aggressive looking Dunlop AT20 (Until I can throw some beefier tires on it. I know the AT20's are less than stellar) and tint the front two windows.
I am planning on adding a leveling kit and AT tires. Also considering NFAB Side steps.
The one thing I wish I did was become more educated about the Trail edition premium. I may have gone for that over the SR5 premium, but I just simply was ignorant to that being an option. I never have and don't really plan on doing any off-roading, but hopefully the SR5 serves to be a decent platform should I decide to.

I'm 26 at the moment. My goal is to have a 2015-16 911 (991) parked next to my new 4Runner by the age of 28.
