Trail edition factory roof rack

I have searched high and low and can not find what I'm looking for. I'm nite I even know what the correct name is. Roof rack? Roof rails? Does anyone know where I could get the factory trail edition black talk rack? I've got an sr5 and would like to have the taller black rack instead of the chrome one.

Just wondering, are all 5th gen roof racks cross-compatible through the 14/15? Prefer that black to the silver, although one could always repaint the silver I suppose.

Only CHEAP way to get one is by a member selling one , otherwise you have to buy them by the piece VERY expensive I know I looked . F -me bring your vaseline

Yep. Actually, got my '14 SR5 silver roof rack powder coated matte black for $50. And traded my silver roof rack caps to a member for his '14 black trail caps. Now his caps match his rack as do mine.

you could, but what many folks are seeking is the OEM black roof rack that was exclusive to the 10-13 Trail Edition as pictured in Javelin's post above. the 14+ models all have the same roof rack. all these racks are interchangeable and utilize the same mounting points and hardware.

I realize the appeal of the Trail Edition rack. OP wanted it all black as well as my pro being two different colors black end caps with silver middles. Especially with the blac wherls it looks very aqward. So paintin is an option. For the factory rack the TE rack should have been used on the pro and is definitely the most appealing factory rack. Yet still does not match the likes of the Gobi. Yet, a major investment.

No what I was saying was people with 14-15 TE do not have THAT rack it's different as you can see in javelin's pic ? The rack on 14-15s is same as my SR5 rack . And yes I bought the TE rack !

Yes they fit just fine on any 5th gen.

Paint is only an option if youre not going to use the rack. With using it, 1 small ding will take the paint off.
