My Trail locks up all four wheels in 4 low. Very nice, can be a bit tricky when the snow and ice are here. I am going to modify so all can be locked in in 4 high.
I had a "all wheel drive" before, it was a fine asphalt SUV. But I managed to get into many places off-road where I had to work too hard to get out of.
With the 4 low and all wheels locked in, the only time I have gotten stuck was when we met quicksand. My winch pulled us out. My wife thought I was crazy when I put on a winch that was able to pull 3x our weight. She is happy now.
The Trail has two rows of seats, the space where the 3rd row would be is a sliding cargo shelf. Very nice to help loading and unloading.
The moon roof is nice, after a decade it still works and does not leak.
Our Trail does not have heated seats, leather interior, televisions and separate sound systems for every seat.
Saw a post which mentioned no place for putting sunglasses. True, I placed two clothespins on the center HVAC vents. When in the dirt, they are on my face.
