Apparently....trying to explain simple shit in here is agonizing!

People might be more receptive to your thoughts if you weren't unnecessarily abrasive 95% of the time.

As someone who has been in the performance car scene for over 10 years, the only people that use "stages" unironically in discussions about modifications are people that hardly know what they're talking about or are too young to realize "stage" has zero absolute definition in any car community.

Go talk about "stages" at a sanctioned race event. You'll get nothing but raised eyebrows.

How ironical, that those same people balking at how we are defining stages in regards to suspension as gimmicky and marketing, are also the ones forking out thousands for Icon, SSO (see their self branded stage 2 high clearance bumper) etc.

Right...because it's a marketing ploy to make people feel like they're getting more for their money and is an easy way for company's to upsell people on various "stages" of their kits.

Icon's "stage 3" suspension upgrade doesn't mean the same thing as Cobb's "stage 3" tune or RamAir's "stage 3" cold air intake.

Ergo, "stages" are completely meaningless to general vehicle discussions.

Just curious what do you find so helpful? Is it being a cunt and not actually giving any positive advice for a thread? Does he even have a trail/OR with kdss? He might but he's been an ass the whole time. Also do you have any actual input or are you just cock riding? In what way are Bilstein 5100's or 6112's better than the fox suspension? Maybe the cost is where they win but other than that I don't think so.
Also have you even driven a 2019 pro?

Whatever he post on threads is one thing but we're talking about this one. No one's easily triggered just tired of people like you and him shitting on people for their purchase. I don't have the budget you have? I haven't updated my build thread in over a year, but I have PLENTY of money and time in my truck. More than most on here. It is not about budget, but trying to help people on here who are new to not waste money.

You do have to remove these J shaped bars in order to get the pro skid plate on a KDSS trail. They simply hang too low to allow the skid plate to mate up to the bolt holes. I’m not sure what the purposes of the bars are, but the Pro skid plate is not a one for one swap. The J shaped bars on the SR5/Pro/non-KDSS vehicles stay in place on with the Pro skid plate.

Who cares about the Pro skid when one can get a nice RCI aluminum one made for KDSS.

Difference in practical clearance is absolutely minimal. I hit lower bumper first - still waiting on my C4 lo-pro. Delivered tomorrow.

And yes, stock suspension has a hidden ~1" of articulation in it, which Pro front gets. Thus a 1" (1.5 front minus sag for bumper and winch and an extra skid plate) lift to get it out.

Just in case I did install RSG KDSS skid, though stock ones are adequate.

Proven durability and you get a bit extra travel and matching springs when adding 1" rear lift to match front.

Also keeps the option to adjust front easily if needed. Such as if adding weight to the front of the vehicle.

I’m glad someone else gets it...Fox is trash, with horrible customer service. Is anyone surprised in here, that one of the first upgrades Pro owners make is suspension? Billsteins w/Wheelers will also sit you higher than OEM Fox.
