Trailer hitches

this may seem like a stupid question but i have no idea lol.....
anyway.. i want to get a trailer hitch for my '98 to pull my toolbox and some of my friends bikes around....as far as the wireing harness is there a harness that i can just plug and play it into? or do i have to rig it up to something ? thanks

if your talking about the wiring for the brake lights and stuff then yea you just plug it into a wiring harness coming off the trailor should just be one harness.

Yeah, i kinda phrased it wrong :bash: i ment to get the trailer lights to work with the brakes on my truck....hence is our trucks prewired or do i have to run wireing ?
