Trailer Light Question

So yesterday I went and picked up a trailer with my 2010 SR5. Now this is the very first time I have ever towed anything and the first time I have plugged trailer lights into the plug on the 4Runner. The brakes lights worked, and both blinkers worked fine, but I had no parking lights on the trailer. When I got home we plugged the trailer lights into a different vehicle and found that the parking lights worked on the trailer. The next step was check the plug on the 4runner and we found there was no power going to the parking light plug.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this?
Can I assume it would be covered under my warranty? Its a year old w/13500 miles. Thanks for the help.

I'm pretty sure the fuse for this is under the hood in the fuse box located behind the battery. You probably have a cut in the insulation on the trailer harness that blew the fuse. Check the fuse and the trailer harness. Exact same thing happened to me on another vehicle.
