About a week ago i installed a B & M supercooler on my 97. While i was at it i went ahead and dropped the pan, replaced the tranny filter and flushed the transmission. I had drained about 5 qts outta the tranny so i added 5 qts then flushed and refilled 1 qt at a time. Well i made sure the level on the dip stick was good and took it for a ride. After about 10 miles checked it again and i was reading cold. I added a lil here and there till it was in the hot range. All in all i had to add 1.5 qts to get it in range. Since then ive checked it cold and hot and this might sound weird but the dip stick reads high in the hot range when its cold and low in the cold range after i drive about 5+ miles. what the hell does this mean and is it normal? Its like its reading opposite of what it should. I dont wanna have too lil or too much fluid in the transmission. Thanks for all the help.
