tranny fluid

I just mistook my trransmission fluid pan for the oil pan and lost about 1/8th of a qt. of tranny fluid. My wife and I planning on going up to the mountains tomorrow but I don't want to risk hurting the transmission. Can anyone tell me how much transmission fluid a 2005 V8 4runner holds and if they think it will be safe to drive? Thanks.

Many times they are overfilled a bit from the factory. I'd warm it up, follow the procedure in the link Kenny posted, and check the level. You might be all right... If you need fluid a high quality WS compatible, Dexron VI fluid is what you need.
