Tranny Problem?

Hey
I'm a new member with a 92 4 Runner 3.0 Ltr Automatic 175,000 KMS. The problem I have is when the truck is cold, the transmission will not shift out of first gear on it's own I have to take my foot off the throttle for it to shift and when it does shift it's a hard shift. This only happens for the first 3-4 mins and then it's fine. I've had the tranny serviced and new 1&2 solenoids replaced still didn't fix it. Any suggestion's.

It's most likely just the cold.
It's 2*F here this morning and I couldn't even shift the auto in my Trooper into gear, spmething in the shifter linkage is frozen. I had to take my car

Switch to synthetic fluid. It can't hurt and is worth a try.

Is it just me or am I the only one that laughs every time you see a thread with the word "Tranny" in it? Not to mention a "Tranny Problem" lol... if you have such a Tranny Problem maybe you should move to another neighborhood?
