Tranny/transfer case problem

In my 92 T4R 3.0 auto I am having a strange problem. I have a small leak of tranny fluid and can't figure out where it is coming from. I also am having a problem with my transfer case becoming over filled for some reason. I know they share some fluid between the 2, but why would my transfer become overfilled after I fill it to the spec ? Any help will be appreciated.

Is your transmission losing fluid, more than your small leak justifies?

Right, is the trans low on fluid close to the amount the t-case is over?

The tranny does show the fluid is a little low. Is there some seal that might be letting it leak into the transfer case ?
