Trans cooler question

So I just pulled a trans cooler out of a '02 Tundra V8 it's a OEM trans cooler. But I am curious to know how it will work with a 3rd gen? And also if it has a thermostat/bypass valve built into it? Thanks for the input!

Was it an OEM Toyota part or an aftermarket? Should work fine, do you have any pics?

OP, not sure if it has a bypass or not. Try searching for the OEM part and see if it says it in the description.
