Trans oil pan removal help please?

I am trying to remove the transmission oil pan and I have the bolts out but the "form in place gasket" is like concrete! I tapped it with a thin putty knife and a hammer for 30 minutes and got only like 1/4"... In the Chilton's manual it talks about a "Toyota special service tool" or "SST" for short but I can not find one for sale at the dealership, local auto parts stores, ebay or anywhere.. . . Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! I have to take the pan off because the bolt is stripped.

I live in outside Boulder, CO if someone is in the area and inclined to give me a hand I will buy beer and pizza!

Mine was tight too but I just stuck my really sharp pocket knife in there and got a corner loose and then just pulled on it while wedging the knife in there and prying around the pan. I was carefull not to scar up the metal surface on the pan and tranny the best I could and I didn't do too bad. Just have a beer and come back to it with something thin and sharp to cut through the gasket initially. That part is not going to be near as fun as scraping the FIPG of the tranny while you're laying under it and ATF is dripping in your face.

i used a small dry wall mud knife/speader to loosen around the pan. Once you get a corner loose, you should be able to pull the pan off. just be careful not to gouge the metal.

I just hit it with a rubber mallet and it came off after a few whacks. No damage done.

Is it loose at all? If so maybe it's hanging up on the dipstick tube?
