It is 2" and is silver in color.

If you want a black one to match your trim, you could get an AEM gauge. Wilson has one.

I gave all that in my previous post. Check my build for the install, wasnt too bad.

i never thought of that... and for you with the SC thats a big deal. hum... but $150 really hurts

Yeah, they're really not cheap, however, I think it's worth it. At night it's very unoffensive to the eyes, gives off next to no light. It has a sensor in it that can tell how bright it is outside, and it adjusts to that for optimum viewing. And I think it looks cool.

haha no problem. $55 isnt too bad though. Anything much less and I wouldn't trust it as an instrument. Autometer has nice stuff though.

just so you know i hate you both... cause i know they are both good products, if i go with the auto meter gauge i will kick my self later at some point im sure, but i cant afford $150 right now, but i love the AEM... do you guys want to help contribute to the isaac is jobless and needs the AEM trans temp gauge foundation!? it would be mighty swell of you, and i will send you a nice thank you card!:biggrin2::lol:

Was Going to say, if your going to spend 150 just get a scanguage but i just remembered you have to have i think a 2000ish to have the trans temp. That digital one AEM one looks awesome however.

so once again, been bit by the mod bug from reading too much t4r.org lol! I'm thinking about splurging on a tranny cooler, temp gauge and an ultra gauge. i found this tranny gauge that comes with the sensor and everything. Do you guys think it could be bad news?

Amazon.com: Tinted Transmission Temperature Gauge: Automotive

I am rather pompous when it comes to installing things on my 4runner, and honestly, I think that's too good to be true, kinda. I don't think you will find any quality parts for that cheap.

yeah man i just looked these things up and they look like they are crap! there are a bunch of poser ricers that run these things. kind of remineds me of the APC stuff. (sorry if i offend, and some of you like APC) IMO anything sold at autozone or any chain auto store to make you car cool.... nevermind rant over lol

i too am all about using quality stuff for my truck. looks like i may just have to save for a scan guage woot woot!
