i have put around 15k miles on my 02. I have done timing belt all fluids including the trans I did the trans around 6k miles ago pan and filter looked good. new filter and fluid. I know I didn't get all the fluid out I was going to do a flush but now my trans has a horrible whine. thought it was the alt changed the alt and whine got worse. trans works fine but whines in forward and reverse quite in neutral. wow do they know what they want to go through the trans. I haven't done a auto in 20 years but at 2400 to 3000 I think I am going to. the pump has to be going. dropped the pan and have fine gold and silver metal.
