I have a SR5 5Speed runner and this weekend I went camping. Took some dirt roads and had to turn around in a bit of a uneven place so I pulled it into 4.
I have a few symptoms that I didn't notice until I got back to the city.
1. The tires feel unbalanced at specific speeds. There doesn't appear to be mud on them like I expected.
2. When I am lugging the engine I get a methodical clicking sound.
3a. pulling the truck into 4H is a bit stiff
3b. pushing into 2H feels like something is stuck and eventually goes in with an unusually loud click after a few hundred feet of driving straight
I retired her last year as my Daily driver and she doesn't see more than a few thousand KM's a year on road.
Anyone have any ideas of where to start?
