Alright guys and gals whoever can help me with this issue please. I drove my sons 92 toyota 4 runner (automatic) to the dealer and noticed the truck is very sluggish in the front, even is kind of jumpy until you get it up to about 30 or 35 and then it smooths out, Hes truck is lifted I think 6 inch but maybe only 3 just seems high to me. Anyway, my son has been saying its been eating gas like hell lately, its only in the front though, my question is how can you tell if the transfer case will not release and its locked or something, we bought the truck used and its his first 4wd, I don't know alot about all that, theres not light on for the 4WD but then again, when we try to put in 4wd theres no light, is there a way to check this? Any suggestions would be great, thanks in advance
