I have an 04 4Runner v6 4x4. I was told by a mechanic that my transfer case was shot so I had it replaced. Upon doing so it still would not switch from 2 to 4 wheel drive. I took it to another mechanic who was able to hook it up to a computer and found no codes. He was able to get it to switch into 4 wheel drive but now it won’t switch back. I read that it could be the transfer case control module so I replaced it with still no luck. Any help please!!!!! Thanks.
