mated to stock transmisson. ITS OVER 4 FEET LONG!!! I think my front drive shaft will be longer then my rear drive shaft! I cant wait!

Yeah. I have a massive transmission jack for big rig trannys. Its actually pretty light compared to what I usually work on.
 
Yeah, a BF Tranny jack would help. That would be too much for your typical tranny jack.

I guess you know you'll need a DC joint on the rear DS.
 
Its in! Front drive shaft, 45 inches long, rear, 39"!

No, man, I dont know nuttin, whats a DC in the rear DS? But I will have a free one if you're passin em' out!

You know, that auto transmission adapter was $500 bucks and I didnt even get a darn sticker???

ahhhhh Double Cardan, that took me a moment to decipher.

Seems to me I get more angle out of a single U-joint and dont care if I benefit from the vibration taming atributes of a DC... What is your opinion?

suzuki samurai transfer case
tcase is seperate and will need to be changed seperately. service manual calls for automatic transmission fluid to be used (nissan's matic D fluid), but lots of us use the same gear oil used for the manual transmission for the tcase. just in case the oil seal between the transmission and tcase leaks. then the fluids that mix are the same.

I have had a lot of good luck with these guys, transfer cases, they have a bunch of salvage yards across the country

I understand now about the Transfer Case. There's really I can do except do my speeding on flat ground.
We've rented a house in Pacific Beach. It's about 20 minutes north of Ocean Shores. If the weather is bad we'll go down to Ocean Shores. There's a pizza place we love and the wife likes the casino.
I'd like to meet up with you next summer. Sounds like fun

I say screw it, it s costs the same to rebuild one or buy a functional used one.
