Ok, my TC actuator motor failed. After pulling the TC and motor, found the fork to engage the gear(s) had a nylon tab broken off. Bought a new fork, reassembled, then noticed that the small spine gear does not fully engage into the larger hub. So the new actuator motor, (shaft) will not lock in, (bearing/springs). It seems I am roughly 1/4" off, and the spline gear is bottomed out into the hub. Excuse my general descriptions, but is their somewhere I can buy the gearing, either as a unit, or the individual gears? I really have never heard of this type of failure in a TC. I am a little nervous buying a salvaged TC, but I did find a TC for $185, from a salvage yard. Even the mileage on the donor vehicle was very close to mine.
