Hey guys i really need help on this issue. It all started with a bad shift actuator which i switched off a wrecked unit and am pretty sure all my gears in the actuator are timed correctly. I now have the transfer case split apart and when i plug in actuator and shift to 4HI my 4HI/2WD shift fork is over extending past the gear basically still leaving it in 2WD. What i am considering is maybe it would shift into the correct position once the case is mounted to the transmission and can spin the input shaft by turning the front wheels? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
