Transmission.. 2003 4Runner Sport

Noticed lately some rough shifting when I just start accelerating or when it hits 45 the Rpms just rev high like it won’t shift gears. I’m guessing transmission issue? I’ve got it in the local shop now but how screwed am I price wise with transmission? Any of you replaced one on 03 sport edition? She only has 100k on her.

V6 or V8?

I notice rough shifts when in stop and go traffic. It's been going on for years though, so I think it's just wear and tear. I've got 187k miles and it still works. My mechanic, who also has a V8 4th gen, told me that he would replace his with a junkyard trans over having it rebuilt.

Check engine light is on and so is vsac off and another vsac light.

Transmission place couldn’t replicate the issue and said they had solinoid error codes but it was circuit error codes. They cleared codes and couldn’t get problem to replicate either.

Weird stuff.

I have the exact same issue...not insanely noticeable in transmission but still present and those same lights are always on for me pretty much. Other than that, no issues
