Transmission cooler lines (which is the return)

I know I could test to find out, but typing is easier.

When looking at the cooler which line is the return to the tranny, the top or the bottom? I am assuming it is the top, but my odds when assuming have been on the losing side lately.:redbrick:

Of the two lines running to the trans cooler in the main radiator, the lower one is the return line to the trans.

I guess I need to clarify. . . . .how about the extra cooler in front of the radiatorthat comes with the towing package?

Usually, with an add-on cooler, it is plumbed in series with the radiator cooler. I would follow the lower line from the radiator cooler to the add-on cooler, that would be the input to it, and the remaining line would be the return line to the trans.
