Transmission interchange question

Will a g56 5speed trans from a 22re truck fit behind a v6 3L? Is there a difference between the 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder transmission?

Maybe someone knows the answer....I have an extra 5 speed trans I want to sell but don't want to sell it to someone that can't use it. I want to be sure it fits there rig setup.

Also if someone knows if there is a difference in the transfer cases from automatic and standard transmissions?

Automatic transfer case's are one unit with the transmission, standard are 2 unit's.

4 cyl trannies and 6 cyl trannies are not interchangeable, manual or auto.

And a 22RE would have a W56 manual.

Thank you I had a guy interested in the 5 speed I have but he has a v6 truck so it will not work.
