Transmission interchange

Wondering if a 98 Tacoma transmission will fit in a 99 4 runner. (Manual tranny) thanks for the help.

Transmissions will interchange, but transfer case will not. If you're 4x4 keep your transfer case

Ok thanks, so my current transfer case will bolt onto the Tacoma tranny just fine ?

Yeah they bolt up to eachother, it's just that the way they are controlled are different through the years. Mate your transfer to the taco tranny and you'll be fine
