Transmission mount?

Alright so I've had my T4R for about two months now and I'm pretty much done with all the routine maintenance. There are two things that are bothering me though, and I was hoping you guys could help out.

The first is that the vehicle jerks when I put it in drive or reverse, and also when coming out of gear at stop lights. After much reading on the forum, it seemed like it might be a U joint issue. I got under the truck and tried to wiggle the drive shaft as much as possible with no play at either of the joints. I did, however notice that when I pushed on it the transmission was a bit loose. Pushing on the drive shaft I can get it to go up or down about half an inch. So my question is this....could that be responsible for the jerking and semi rough shifting? I'm gonna replace it either way, I'm just running out of money and I'm hoping to avoid replacing the U joints for now. Is there any particular tranny mount you guys recommend, or should I just go OEM?

Number 2 is an obnoxious "shake" in the rear whenever I go over small bumps. Something back there feels loose, like it's shaking back into position after I go over the bump. Could this be related to the tranny mount? I've replaced the shocks and that didn't do much. I've tightened the hell out of the spare, and I've also got new sway bar bushings in the mail, but I don't imagine they will do much for the rattle. When I get underneath the truck, the only thing that seems loose is the exhaust, but it's still connected by all of those rubber connectors so I don't know if thats it. So, if this were your truck, and you were trying to figure out what was causing it, where would you begin?

Thanks in advance for any and all direction
