Transmission Removal & Replace write up?

Hey guys, I'm about to rip out my transmission and replace it with another. I have absolutely no idea what I'm getting myself into as I've never done anything this major. Ive done lifts and lockers but there are plenty of write ups that essentially hold your hand the whole way through. Just wondering if anyone has done this procedure before and if they have any details on how to do it. Thanks.

Yes, I'm in Canada and the truck is 4wd. Thanks for the link thats exactly what I was looking for.

Thats what I figured I would probably end up doing before the link above was provided. How long does alldata say it should take? The fsm says the front exhaust (step 6 in the fsm) needs to be removed, did you remove the exhaust when you pulled out your transmission? My exhaust is so rusty it would definitely break if I had to take it off.

I didn't remove my exhaust. I think alldata said 6 hours. Nothing was hard, it was just time consuming.
