I have a 2008 T4R V6, about 57K on the transmission. I feel a good bit of vibration from what I believe is the transmission or torque convertor. It only happens when I hit the throttle. It occurs at just about every speed, the key is it happens when I am giving it throttle, and is smooth when I let off the throttle. It's starting to get on my nerves.
I purchased the vehicle used with 50K on it. The local Toyota dealer keeps telling me it's 'normal'. It sure doesn't feel normal to me. I've drained and refilled the transmission 2x in the last 6K miles. It is a little smoother, but still have the vibration. Also a new rear driveshaft, for what it's worth.
It seems around some cities there are local transmission shops who know what they are doing when it comes to toyota, and specifically T4R transmissions.
Can anyone recommend such a shop in the Pgh PA area? Or heading east from Pgh.
