Confirmed the following info:

2006 TRD Tundra
Blue + Red

Anyone have any idea of how these are different from the Blue+Yellow?

I hear that the DC springs are a bit more firm to hold up the extra weight...

I don't know whether that's true or not, but it's what I have heard.

From what I can find, the access cab is only about 200 lbs lighter than the double cab (4700lbs vs 4900lbs), so it seems entirely possible that they're not much stiffer, if at all.

I am wondering if I put these on as an assembly (w/my current top hats), if it'd be too stiff? Basically, do I go for this $100 front setup with OME out back, or just go all OME for more $$???

I've heard the same, but I haven't found a definite conclusion. I think most people just don't bother with them.

OP, it all depends if you have the time and possible money to take the chance. You could probably sell the rear shocks if you wanted. They will give you ~2" without top plate spacers, so keep that in mind.
