Dealership or you might try a few spots online. Compare prices between a few dealers. I've purchased some towing accessories and have found that prices vary significantly from dealer to dealer... at least in my area.

I heard the TRD oil filter for the 4.7 has a fit issue with 4runners. I was going to order this from Partznet and they advised against it, due to problems in the past with 4runners.

I guess the TRD oil filters are longer than standard and has fitment issues.

Thought it might help.

I just got back an UOA (used oil analysis) with the use of a TRD drop-in air filter (15K miles on it and 12.5K on the oil) and it showed it to have the same filtration efficiency as the OEM air filter. I've seen bad fitting K&N filters so I was looking very careful at the fit of the TRD and I can tell you that it fits better then the OEM because of the outer edge material (silicon type material).

12.5k miles on your oil? Man, I don't care what anyone says, I change mine every 3k no matter what.

But good news on the air filter, that's why I bought one, was very impressed with its construction.

I am using an Amsoil dual bypass filtration system and the oil was still good but I changed it because it had allot of break-in wear metals. I also changed over to the new nano-fiber technology filters and reformulated 0w-30 that does not thicken. I figured I would make a completely new start. The old oil was in great shape with 12.5K miles on it. With this new set-up, I should get a minimum of 50K miles out of it. This is not guesswork; UOAs determine how long the oil will last.

Koz,
i am going this route, dual remote by-pass oil filter, like yours, and a friend recommended 0W-30, would there be any warranty issues using this oil weight?

my 4Runner being ~13k miles is it advisable to switch?
