Can someone point me in the right direction or if they have a set they will sell let me know. Not easy to find. It's for a 99 Limited with a 3.4, after I get out of the people Republic of California I just might run it with open headers for a while for fun lol.... :becky:

Headers

I just came across someone selling Doug Thorley headers in the Classified section. Check it out...it's a good deal in my opinion

they are discontinued... good luck finding a set. doug thorley is probably your best bet if you want some. and dont run them open if you want to keep your motor. you will "crystallize" the valves and do damage to the heads and possibly the pistons

I know...

I just want to hear it one time and know what it sounds like.

My first truck was a built to the hilt F-150 and headers off that thing with a big block was Bad A man.

Thanks guys...

I'm going to call those guys in the morning and see if they still have that set. That is a nice price for a set. I messaged that guy off ebay and nothing yet. Still not convinced it is just not the box. Who really lists something with no picture of the product.:rockthrow:

Ol'Blue or any others, have you found a write up since you are looking for a pair? I've been looking for one of em, can't find any lol.

They are not hard to do. The biggest pain in the ass is just getting them in most of the time and getting everything lined up. After that it will be the welding part and that is not hard since I studied that stuff for two years alone. It was fun and I enjoy doing it, for fun only and building cool stuff. Now I just need a nice Miller Wire Feeder. Any one willing to let me weld. I'll buy beer and willing to teach, lol.

Bumper...

Shouldnt you be saving up to fix your front bumper and rear defroster button? hahaha :pound:

That is pretty much a done deal. I need to get my hands on a welder. That rear defroster and window has me puzzled actually. Still working on that. Going to look at a parts truck for that issue. Really pissing me off honestly.

Building hot rods I know I can do it, I just like to study before diving. lol
Thanks for the input.

Woah woah woah.

Trademotion link is only for the y-pipe. $250 will not get you NEW TRD headers. I found some for $350 on CL a couple years ago... Couldn't make the time to pick them up.
