TRD Intake available now!

I ordered my TRD cold air Intake yesterday and was informed today that it has shipped and will arrive later this week. Just in case for those of you who have been patiently waiting for it is now available!

I ordered mine from TRD sparks since it was considerably cheaper then my local dealer it was going to be $503.00 w/tax

I bought one last week also when a bunch of them came up from Toyota dealers on Ebay. Did'nt have a chance to post info all weekend as it was my daughters b-day.

I paid $399 total shipped last Friday but they raised the price to $415 the next day,and it's supposed to be here Wednesday.Just search thru the part number PTR03-89100 or 4Runner intake on Ebay as I just saw them for $399.50 from another dealer. 2010 2011 TOYOTA 4RUNNER AIR INTAKE TRD 4.0 V6 - eBay (item 370487920504 end time Mar-27-11 13:31:17 PDT)
My local dealer wanted $475 plus tax.Ya right!

Mine is also on the way! Had a 2001 supercharged 4R Sport that I traded in for the 2011 Limited. Boy do I miss the sound of that machine.

me too. I've wasted money on intakes before, and $400 is a lot to spend on something you may never notice is there.

OK, I admit to being skeptical, but TRD backs it up. Looks like ~10hp and ~20 ftlbs from 2600 - 5000 rpm.

So $40 per 1 horse power increase.....how is that value for those who do performance mods?

I read that this cold increase MPGs - Do you guys think that is true and if so, do you think you could get 1MPG better than stock? If you could, I would buy it for sure. I feel that my '11 Limited has great power - but a little more is nice especially if it improves MPG!
