TRD Off Road Carbon Trim

I'm not a big fan of the carbon trim on the center console on my new TRD Off Road and was hoping to switch it with the part that comes on the 2016 Trail. Anyone have a part number for this and if it's doable?

Vinyl wrap it. Probably cheaper, and you get to choose the color. Amazon has a good selection of colors.

I was really looking to replace it with the original part and not that interested in wrapping it but thanks for the idea. If it's not that expensive of a part I'll just give the carbon trim piece away (already had someone ask me about it haha)

To my understanding it is just a carbon fiber "look." That being said, normally I hate fake crap on my vehicles, but I actually really like the look of this piece. To each their own, looks like the OP will have no issue trading which would be more durable than a wrap (though it's not a heavy contact area like a bumper or something, obviously)

I actually wanted the carbon piece on my 15. So I priced it out at the dealer. I believe it was $300-$400 for it. It's not just the carbon piece it's the entire console like the cup holder part.

I did find instructions on how to remove/replace. Doesn't look too hard and shouldn't take too long.

Not sure. Honestly I would keep it or wrap it. The one I have which is what you want I think, scratches easily.

If you are looking for the COMPLETE ASSEMBLY (meaning forward cupholder, transfercase boot, rear cupholder, clips, etc.) then the correct P/N is: 5880435540. If all you want to do is change the rear of the console panel then this is the appropriate P/N: 5880535150.

I used my own VIN from my '15 TRP that utilizes the same trim you're after, but keep in mind that the aforementioned P/N is only for the trim (possibly the clips too, check with Toyota first). I think it would be safe to assume that the switch blanks, clips, cup holder, and tray do not come with as this is a "Sub-Assembly" rather than the entire panel. The P/N for the switch blanks (if you need them) are: 5553958060C0 and the P/N for the clips are: 9046710203; the trim piece requires 10 total.
