Just got my Inferno TRDP yesterday. Was looking originally for a TEP but could not find one in my area. Ended up driving 90 minutes south to Chicago where they just received my Inferno TRDP 2 days ago. Liked it and bought it on the spot. Paid $40K on a sticker of $43,500. Met the owner of the dealership and had an overall great experience. As I was doing the paperwork, the sales manager took a call from a guy in MA, wanting to buy my truck and have it shipped.
I am not an off roader, but wanted to get back into a real SUV and missed the days of driving my FJ. The TRDP looks bad a$$ and that is why I bought it.
Then I joined this community this morning, looking to get educated on my new ride. But after seeing the "Love" for the TRD Pro, wondering, why bother. Disappointing when a few flamers instill their comments and ruin things in general. People buy what they like and can afford, drink what they like and can afford, and enjoy life. I am happy with my decision and will enjoy the heck out of the truck for years to come, and pass it on to my son when he starts driving in 4 years.
For the negative posters, REALLY ???? Nothing better to do with your time than criticize other people's decisions??

Damn I thought I got a good deal paying just over 41k for mine and that's using USAA. There were 5 others in line for mine but luckily I put a deposit down while deployed and the dealer did a solid holding it for me.
And yes there are douches canoes on here but try browsing a jeep jk forum and see how bad it is over there. I know since I was banned from two forums for telling the admin to **** off when they tried attacking me

You can get a new base GX460 MSRP $50000. I got $3k off, so paid $47000+ tax. It is basically a v8 limited with 6 speed. KDSS is standard. 7 seats. No nav but it has 7 in screen. The Blizzard white color is standard not extra $$$.
The new gx has the new grill that looks pretty mean. Also you get the hid lights with "check" day time running light standard.
TRD Pro's are nice but my local dealer is selling a white one for $50K. $5K markup plus a aftermarket sunroof for $2K.
