TRD PRO Brushguard

Your insurance company is going to love you for installing this contraption. Perfect excuse for not covering damage.

Totally false... You have crappy insurance if they don't cover because of a grille guard. When I added my TRD to my insurance policy my agent said let me have a list of all accessories you put on so we can cover them in case of loss or accident.

I remember it like it was yesterday...

When I got my first 4Runner I became a fan right away; it was like the Halley Berry/Beyonce Knolls of fine automobiles to me! But it needed something more... something to make it my own! I started with the 'Vent-Shades'! But that wasn't enough. What else does it need, I thought... I was living in Atlanta at the time (that's where I bought the "Candy apple" red 4Runner, at a dealership in Conyers Ga (Conyers Toyota), on I-20 east W/EXACTLY 40,000 miles on the clock!). I was paying cash that I'd saved-up, so I was able to negotiate new Dunlap Touring rubber and made them throw in the running boards too (just straight pimp'd em-out :pimp: lol!) There was a "House-of-Chrome" not too far from where I got it that sold all kind of accessories, special rims and knick-knacks, and that's where I saw the black 'Brush guards'! I got the front BG's first, just to test the vibe! Then I caught the bug for real(!), and needed the rears as well, so I added them a lil' later:

IMHO, the 4Runner looks just as good as any 4x4 on the road (or off-road) whether with or W/O accessories!

rig, Cheers!

BTW:,

Even the rear brush guards offer no real protection for the tail lamps but I still think that they look really good on certain 4Runners!

Not thrilled with your front either. But that's your thing

FYI shipping was free

Most of us here obviously have more money than “good sense” anyway when it comes to our truck, so I say do whatever makes you happy. I’m dropping $1700 on a Gobi I know I could probably live without. My wife is more than certain.....

I concede, the brush guard isn’t my thing, but I am curious to see it up close. Just over in Plant City, so maybe I’ll get a chance to see it at a local event in the future?
