I've seen several other nice custom sub enclosures here, but I wanted to also share mine. It was a lot of work but I'm pretty happy with the results.

THAT'S cool, up and out of the way. Doesnt take up too much room. Where's the amp?

Thanks! That was the goal. The amp is mounted under the driver's seat along with the LOC until I can replace the stock head-unit.

"EXCELLENT JOB" bro! ...Is that a JL W6(?), nice! This is one of those posts that (imho) would be of benefit to many if you could find the ^x to prepare a 'Photo essay/Tutorial'! t'would be quite interesting to see how you measured/calculated your sub's inner "gross and net" box dimensions. I think it would also be nice to watch you installing the rest of the equipment e.g., Amp and Powerlines, Heavy Duty speaker wires, L.O.C., trigger wire... since it seems so many here have the JBL ver. hu with sub in the rear! Once again... GREAT JOB!

Thanks! It's a JL 12W3v3. I'd be happy to do a bit more of a writeup than what's in the gallery since there is interest. I'll work on that over the next few days. I can also add a pic/writeup of the speaker/amp/loc installation. My next projects will be either sound deadening or replacing the head-unit.

I hate to disappoint but I really didn't do much in the way of measuring/calculating the volume of the container. I read about using packing peanuts to determine the volume of oddly shaped containers, but I didn't have any of those handy.
