TRD Pro Mods - Post Pics & Questions

I will start: Want sliders, more protruding than up and tight like Rocky-Road
1) Does ShockWorks delivery times still suck?
2) Would their sliders work with no mods needed?
3) From ShockWorks pics it appears that the dimpled version protrudes more than non-dimpled? Is this correct?

Hopefully, the answers are in this order:
1) No
2) No mod needed
3) Yes

Then I would be in for powdered dimpled!

I just ordered Metaltech OPOR's yesterday. After considering Shrockwork, BudBuilt, Rocky, 4x4 lab they just seem to be the best fit.

i think it's:
1) yes. always.
2) yes. no mods to rocker trim required for a Trail, TRD Pro, or 2014+ SR5
3) no. but you can request that the slider comes straight out, instead of angling upward, which effectively will make it protrude more than the standard Shrocks slider.

as sliders' "poke" outwards from the rocker goes, it's basically: Rocky Road < Shrockworks < BudBuilt, et al.

I have the Demello Hybrid Bolt On Sliders and the protrude enough to be used as a step but not so far as to be obtrusive if you do not use as a step. seems to be about the best of both worlds.

From what I've researched the Schrockworks dimpled plate sliders are straight out and not angled up. Not sure if all the dimpled ones come that way or it's by request I'd verify with them before ordering. There is a group buy going on right now for 15% off until Mon. I placed my order yesterday and I did ask if they stick out far enough to be used as a step and he said they did. Hope that helps.

The shrockworks dimpled tread plate stick out a little more than the awful factory steps based on measurements someone took. (Talking about the one with wanna be chrome) as stated if you can wait the 4 months there is a group buy in the classifieds through Monday.

Shrockworks

I'm hoping to get my dimpled tread plate sliders mounted to my TRD Pro tomorrow. Will post pics when finished.

This is from ShrockWorks site, under "options" appears the dimpled would be straight and pic seem to suggest as well.
Would make sense as more designed for stepping with the dimpled.
BUT you know, never assume!
Thanks for the 15% info. Guess I gotta decide...

Winch Help - TRDP

Hello all, I need help please. Deep desire to avoid mistakes.

'15 TRDP (Attitude, if anyone cares lol)

1) I want to hide the winch. So, no new big bumper. But, wouldnt mind a meek, guard type bumper. How is the Undercover mount with tow eyes? It has no guard ability however.

2) For the winch, am leaning toward the Warn Zeon 10S Platinum. The 10S will likely fit but, I dont know it fact. Also, I'm not too crazy about having a remote only controlled winch. I may be old school with such thinking.

3) Will the front need beefing up if I add this 100 lbs to it?

4) RCI skid plates?

Thanks in advance to the brain trust,
Truck

1) http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...ine-hybrid-front-bumper-2014-sr5-trail**.html

2) Your choice. I'm still learning on this myself.

3) Yes. I installed a pair of OME 885's for the additional 140 lbs of bumper/winch. But you need to research whether they will work with your TRD Pro Bilsteins, which have less adjustability than my 5100's.

4) Nice skid plates. But still on my wish list.

SSS bumper with winch installed below.

And in use.

3wbdriver,
Very nice Trail! Can't wait to show your pictures to my Bro. Bro bought a white TRDP. He's the one who got into this mess in the first place.

Thank you for your help and time sir. I like your set-up. The front look is what I'm seeking. That look is aggressive but, doesn't stray too far.
