TRD Skidplate Question

The regular skid plate does not fit 4Runners with KDSS. Thus the one for '24 may be with KDSS and the other without KDSS.
TRD skid plate there are two variations, one that with TRD stamped and the other with plastic TRD snapping into place. Either one will fit any model besides KDSS equipped models.

The part number for the TRD front skid plate for 4Runners that do not have the KDSS option is PTR6089190.
This skid plate is not applicable to vehicles with KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System).
Confirm which suspension you have before ordering.

First time posting and I have a question.
1st time changing oil in our 2019 TRD Pro we got a few months ago, I noticed a missing bolt in the skid plate. I found a bolt that would fit but also found the threads were F'd about halfway through. So I bought OEM replacement bolts and a tap, but the replacement bolt kit came with a couple of spacers. I don't think the stock TRD Pro needs the spacers as they would be for other non TRD Pro trims. Can someone confirm? Thanks in advance.

TRD Skid plates come with 2 short bolts (rear) and 2 longer bolts with spacers (front).
That is normal for any 2010-2025 4Runner other than limiteds and special versions.
The spacers (round aluminum spacers) locate the bolts into the front radiator support brackets.

I have a mod that replaces the bolt up skid with studs and it makes the process easier and stops stripped threads!
