TRD Supercharger Issues

I just put in a TRD supercharger for my 98 3.4 4runner and just recently had a major issue. While driving, my throttle got stuck and was redlining and my breaks locked up. I was luckily able to get off the road but when I turned the car off and back on it instantly redlined to 7 again. I was thinking that it could possibly be the ecu but I have no idea. Can anyone help?

98 is cable operated, I don't think there is anything in the computer that could make the engine rev like that...? Have you checked the throttle cable? Make sure the throttle body valve is closed too.

This.

So just out of nowhere your 4Runner started redlining and the breaks locked up?

IF that's what happened, then literally the only possibility is a ghost flooring your brake and gas pedal at the same time.

Post a picture of the throttle cable bracket on top of the supercharger.

And your brake/gas pedal so we can be sure there is not a "little person" down there messing with you.

It sounds like your cable may have frayed and the throttle got stuck open. As far as the brakes locking up at the same time... That is confusing
