TRD Tundra/ Lc lift or equivalent with 265/75/16 tires

Hey guys,

I have a good set of 265/75/16 BFG KM2s right now, and i'm wondering if they are going to look to small and weird with a lift on the 4runner. its a 97 limited. Looking for some pictures of people with lifts and this size of tire.

imo yes, i had 265's on then once i did the lift the tires looked like the little doughnut tires they give you when you get a flat, it was killing me to look at the truck with the tiny tires on it, this is an aesthetics question though so you'll get alot of different answers, personally though i hated it....

This isn't the best picture but the only one I have at the moment. This is the Toytec Lift with 890's in the rear and 265-75-16 treadwright at's.

As mentioned above, you'll get a lot of varying opinions on 'looks'. I think this looks like a decent size tire for the lift. I'm set at about 2.5 upfront.

Asked the same question.

Went with Treadwright 33's (which are BIG 33's [measure 33" installed on weighted truck]) and although they look great, I sure lack power and have reduction in gas mileage.

32's don't look too bad IMO. You'll retain most of the power and gas mileage too.

Heres a couple shots of my 4R with the Tundra/890 setup and 265/70/16. I will probably be moving up to a 265/75/16 or 255/75/17 soon depending on what wheels I get. 285s will defiantly look better but I am going to supercharge mine first.

Your sizes jump from a 32 to a 34 tire.... 285's would be in the middle, albeit not much difference in weight compared to the skinny 285's.

I'm glad my 33's don't look like typical 33's. They look between a 255 and a 285 which is perfect for me. I actually like the look of a tall narrow tire, plus they have their benefits.

I don't know if this was towards my reply but a 255/75/17 is a 32x10x17 not a 34"

OP, I have the exact set up youre asking about. Tundra coils up front, lc 7 wraps in the back, 265 75 16 tires. I dont think the tires look small at all. Though I will probably go one size up when I change them in the future. Or Ill get a tire thats the same in diameter, but a little wider.

I had 265/70-16 on when I had my TRD/890,891 lift. New coils.

I now have 265/75-16 on with ~4" in front and 5"+ in back (ToyTec COs/861)

I like having the room to stuff tires.
