Wow. They look just like BF Goodrich allterains. Most people would not even think that they're capped tires (retreads).

well i guess im gonna have to try a set of these on my wheeler, those look like they are brand new... the only other set i have ever seen(i saw them in person) and they looked like ass, you could see where they had been retreaded and it looked super rough but if they are looking that good and that clean then my guess would be they are being picky about what carcases they use, and only take good ones. but im still kinda skeptical on running them on the road as a DD tire, only time will tell i guess...

I just saw on their facebook page if you "like" their page and go down several posts they are having an online or call in group buy. You can get an additional 7% off till 6/15. The cheap just got cheaper lol
edit: to the kid, I could easily tell my tires were retreads, they look rough on the sides. So don't expect perfection by any means....

Three 2007 carcasses, and one 2005 carcass.
Yes, in person, you can definitely see that they are not new. Now, an average person that knows nothing about tires would never know. And even someone who was mechanically inclined wouldn't be able to tell unless you look closely at the tires when they are sitting still. The sidewalls look old. But the tires are solid, and I'm looking forward to putting them through the paces and seeing how they do. Glad I could get load range D too...I wish BFG still offered it.

i've had my rear right tire blow out during a road trip. i believe i was going at 80ish mph. felt like i went over a bump when the tire blew, then my 4runner started to shake/vibrate mildly, i thought there was gravel on the road, but decided to slow down, stop and do a visual check. i later found out my dad who helped me prepare the truck for the road trip had over-inflated the tires.

Nope. I just got my other car back together from having to do an unexpected front wheel bearing repair. The 4runner can finally go in the garage. So maybe in the next couple days if I have time. I haven't ordered my Dynabeads yet....I think I'm a little gunshy....worried about spending that much money and then having them not work that well. If I pull the trigger on the dynabeads, I'll be ready to mount the tires.

Update: The tires are mounted, but they didn't balance them correctly. Duh, how hard can a static balance be? Their excuse was that they couldn't even get it close with a static balance. I told them if that's true the tires are warrantied, and I can get 4 new tires....then they started hemming and hawing, so I bet they never even tried to static balance them.
Anyway, I've only driven like 10 miles on them. But they drive nice, look nice, once I get my front end lifted, pinch welds trimmed, and the tires balanced correctly, I'll give another update.

Thanks for the update. I'm waiting on my bonus and then I should be able to order mine. I'm looking forward to it and hopefully I can sell my old tires to offset some of the costs.
