I was backer 76 and I just got them in Arizona about a week ago, I buried myself to the axle in cinder and these popped me out no problem. Definitely took a long time to get here but well worth it.

Another forum member admitted to buying max-tracks instead because of the anticipated wait time.

I will say I bought a pair of these before the kickstarter campaign off of some guy on TacomaWorld. I will say they saved me in a few different scenarios as well as my buddies. If you can wait, I think these are a great tool to have in with your recovery gear without paying as much for Maxxtrax.

Yeah, I ordered a set of Traction Jacks over the weekend. About the same price as these, but they have them in stock and they're made in the USA.

Since I don't get my mine until all you Kickstarter folks get yours, I figure it's going to be a while still. And since I'm itching to take a solo trip down Padre Island National Seashore, I need something.

Agreed! I have a pair of the older style and used them the last snow storm we had and they worked well. The Treds did break in a few places, I'm guessing the cold made the plastic brittle. I submitted a warranty claim and had a tracking number for a new set within days. Great customer service.
