Thanks for posting the pictures! Nice to see how it would mount real-world from all of the angles. It's a great help to visualize how it would fit for those of us that don't have them yet.

No tracking email yet so I am still waiting for mine. I backed the early-bird double-set + mount.

I have the factory roof-rack with cross rails so I will be looking here to figure out how to mount for that application and/or post my own when I figure it out.

Next up, we need pictures of them covered in mud to see how it fits back up on the roof after a good use :rockon:

Rec'd mine last week, seem to be very well made. Got the gray, which I ordered. Only regret is I wish I had ordered the mount. They look very nice!

I just got my TRED set.
They look pretty legit especially the mount/lock mechanism.
I have one gripe, they are the wrong color (green) wanted grey for the stealth look.
I was under the impression that grey was the default color and you wouldn't get green unless you specifically requested it.

Anyone know?

They sent out a survey. Did you fill it out?

Yes, I filled out the survey and asked for GM.
I got a reply from the TRED company. They informed me that they will send out the gunmetal set and issue a return label for the green set.
I hope this happens soon because I can't wait to see the GM and get it mounted on my SUV.

Looks like us Californian that got our shipping during this last week may have gotten the remaining of the green as they ran out of grey or someone is colorblind and shipped us the green instead of the grey. I checked my submission and it did show i requested the Grey color. The green looks cool too but i'm not sure if the blend in with my MGM plus that I think over time the green may fade from exposure to the sun if i leave it on all the time. [MENTION=112589]davester00[/MENTION] who did you contact? I've responded to my kickstarter pledge site. Hopefully that the correct ave to contact them.

BTW how are most people securing the mount to the roof racks? Perhaps some hefty zip ties? I was hoping for a more elegant mounting system but I guess KISS might work in this case.

Baja Rack RTT Plates

Dave, I mounted mine using a RTT Plate from Baja Rack. It holds the bottom of the rack and the mounting bracket from Treds sits on top. I'll probably add a few zip ties as well since the Treds bracket is just slightly wider than the Baja Rack opening.

I had to buy a set of 4 RTT plates, so if you're interested in 1 let me know. I will probably only ever use 2 of them.

Yeah I got mine yesterday unfortunately I also ordered gray and got green. Apparently they must be aware that there's a problem because before I could contact them I received an email stating they're sending out a gray set.

I ordered grey and got green. They sent me a message saying there sending me the grey one and I got green again. At this point I'm going to ask if I can just buy the second set and save them shipping.
