Although, the green makes more functional sense to have and looks better.
Super happy with the grey, it matches my boring life/personality. The 2 green were returned.
I cannot stress how well made these TRED PROs are made. Top notch product and company.

Baja Flat Utility Rack Mounting
I took my Baja Rack off today to do some touch-up painting where my FourTrek awning mounts scraped the powder coat off the rack. It is certainly much easier to mount accessories with the rack off, so I thought I would post a few pics of the Treds mounted to a Baja Flat Utility Rack.
I bought the Treds mount and I'm pretty happy with it, although the Treds seem a bit wobbly on the rubber washers. I found it to be more stable to put the Treds on first, then the rubber washers, then the quick release clamps. 2 mounts would definitely be better. I used a Baja Rack RTT mounting plate to hold the mount in place and added a few zip ties for good measure. I don't anticipate this thing going anywhere. I have it shifted more towards the passenger side so that I do not butt up against my awning (which I mount on the driver's side).

The FEDEX tracking number shows as "delivered" to my home.

I got two sets of Gray, too, and a mounting bracket. All very well built, though I question the security of the lockable handle things. Given enough force, they are removable even when locked. Enough force that I suspect most people won't bother though, so there's that

I ordered grey and got green. They sent me a message saying there sending me the grey one and I got green again. At this point I'm going to ask if I can just buy the second set and save them shipping.

How did you mount onto the Gobi in that location, are you just using the longer pins or is something holding the tred mount above the mesh floor of the rack?

Man...wish I got in on this...if any of you Bay Area guys want to help a local guy out and got an extra set, I'll gladly pay a little extra than the kickstarter price if you're looking to unload a pair. Starting my build up and these are niiiiiice. :-D

The longer side is zip tied to the mesh and short end is zip tied to one of the 2 center bars. I used the standard pins. Sorry no pix at the moment but if you position them with the mounts over that location and lift Tred vertically, you will see where you need to secure the mounts to.
