Tred recovery - better than a group buy!

So I finally received the second mount and test fitted the set using my factory cross rails.

For starters I bought these Yakima mighty mounts from Amazon. They fit the 2015 Toyota 4Runner cross rails perfectly.

The provided bolt and nut that embeds itself on one side of the Yakima mount was the perfect length and does not get near touching the roof paint. Unless crushed on by lots of weight like a roll over but I will have other problems if that happens.

It just barely fits under my 81" garage. Luckily the 1.5" concrete lip helps. As long as I mount the rearmost pegs from the Tred Pro Mount forward of the centerline with the rear wheel hub the dip creates enough room to get into and out of the garage without having to take them off.
I have the Toytec TRD Pro 2" lift kit but factory Nitto TG in 265/70/17. When I go to bigger tires I may have to revisit the fit. For the most part though it is just the plastic locking pieces that stick out farther. The actual mount posts (short ones) for the Tred Pro mounts do not stick up farther than the 4 Tred Pro's stacked on top.

Haha. Some of us (me anyway) are about to ask for a refund. I already picked up a set of Traction Jacks and am sick of the "later this week or early next week" answer I have been getting for the last 3 months.

Cancelling my order would be because I'm sick of having money tied up in gear I don't have and don't have a clue when I'll actually get. I don't doubt the cost and quality are top notch. Waiting until I finally get the Treds and immediately selling them would just be silly.

Finally got a chance to install. Not sure if I want to keep it in that position or move it around. We'll see.

TRED Pro got their first use helping a FWD sedan get out of the sand at Ponce Inlet yesterday. The guys had no idea what they were doing and were appreciative of the assist.
